The objective of the SPaCe project is to propose an intelligent use of the on-board video systems to provide advanced services on board, to the passengers on the ground, to transport service managers and to maintenance companies.
In particular the SPaCe project will focus on the realization of:
  • a system based on artificial intelligence for assessing the internal condition of vehicles with passengers on board (rail and road);
  • a supervision and control system of the vehicle fleet in real time, dedicated to optimizing the average number of passengers per vehicle;
  • an on-board device (On Board Unit - OBU) able to interconnect nodes and sensors within the vehicle's LAN (using wired and / or wireless infrastructures), to other vehicles and ground stations and to offer basic services for the functioning of the network itself with high self-configuration capacity

  • In the context of the project, ResilTech will provide its expertise in many activities:
    • Analysis of the regulatory context and planning of Verification & Validation Activities
    • Definition of security and privacy requirements
    • Definition of methodologies and toolchains based on model driven engineering for the architectural verification of safety, security and RAM properties
    • Design and development of plug-ins for the Verification & Validation toolchain
    • Planning and specification of system tests, integration tests and module tests
    • Hazard, threats and vulnerabilities analysis and risk assessment
    • Quantitative analysis of the architectural model of the SPaCe system through MDE solutions and static verification of the code under development
    • Assessment of the developed system and production of the quality assurance report
